Warm & Cheesy Vegan Spinach Dip | Real. Simple. Vegan.
- 1 cup raw cashews
- 1 brick (450g) medium-firm tofu
- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 1/2 tbsp garlic salt
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbso onion powder
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 cups raw spinach
Boil raw cashews for 30 minutes.
In a food processor, purée tofu, nutritional yeast, garlic and onion powders, garlic salt, apple cider vinegar and cashews. Blend until smooth.
Once a smooth dip texture has been formed, add in the spinach. Blend until the spinach is chopped down to the size you like.
Do not purée the spinach with everything else, otherwise your dip will be green.
If you wish, add in some shredded dairy-free cheese and microwave to get an added melty cheese factor.
