You need this Versatile Peanut Sauce for all of your Buddha bowls! It’s quick and easy and only requires ingredients that would be in the basic kitchen. Its flavours aren’t too complex but if you’re looking for a more savoury peanut sauce, you might enjoy my Ginger Lemon Peanut Sauce.
The recipe calls for soy sauce but if you have a gluten sensitivity, you can swap it for tamari.
Versatile Vegan Peanut Sauce | Real. Simple. Vegan.
- 1 cup natural peanut butter
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 tbsp Sriracha
Whisk all ingredients together in sauce pan on low.
Remove from heat when melted and thoroughly blended.
Substitute soy sauce for tamari for a gluten-free sauce.
If you would like to use as a dip, only use 1/2 cup of water.
