Truthfully, I was missing a hearty cobb salad, but this Vegan Cobb Salad sincerely hits the spot and it’s cruelty free, yes even the bacon, so it definitely surpasses the traditional cobb salad by far.
99% of the time I opt for a clear salad dressing, but on this day I was craving ranch, so I had to come up with a convincing ranch recipe to satisfy such a specific need. You can find my homemade ranch dressing recipe here, or scroll below the photos to find it at the bottom.
The bacon I’m really excited about! It’s all vegan! No meat! No cruelty! This bacon recipe is not one I created. I got it directly from The Edgy Veg. She did an amazing job coming up with a seriously convincing bacon recipe both in flavour and texture. You need to check it out! Click here to a link to her page and the bacon recipe.
These bacon photos below capture the batch I made at home. They turned out on the first try. Looks pretty realistic, am I right? Yes I am.
