Our BBQ Sweet Potato Dip came out of desperation tbh. I love roasted sweet potatoes and sweet potato fries but all of the restaurant dips are mayo-based and therefore not vegan friendly. Let’s be honest, ketchup just doesn’t cut it.
You will love this recipe because it has the same texture as a regular, fatty and flavourful restaurant dip but without the heavy fat.
Sweet Potato Dip
- 1 brick silken tofu (530g/ 19oz)
- 1/2 cup barbeque sauce
- 3 tbsp onion powder
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
Purée all ingredients in a high-power blender or food processor. Enjoy!
